Power Greens Chocolate Bounty Truffles

 Power Green Truffles

These little nutrient bombs are rich in magnesium, potassium and several B vitamins, among other goodies. The glucose from the dates will help boost blood sugar after exercise, but the coconut will smooth its absorption.

Ingredients

100 grams hazelnuts
140 grams pitted medjool dates
2 scoops (4 grams in weight) One Nutrition Power Greens powder or Udo's Choice Beyond Greens
2 tablespoons raw cacao powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 tablespoons raw coconut

Method

  1. Whiz hazelnuts till they resemble breadcrumbs (but not too fine) and set aside.
  2. Next, briefly wizz chopped dates, power greens and raw cacao until roughly chopped, then add back in the nuts.
  3. Another quick wizz before adding vanilla extract and coconut oil. One final wizz and then transfer to a bowl, cover with cling and place in the fridge for 1-2 hours.
  4. Roll into neat little balls and lightly dust with cacao powder.
  5. Transfer to airtight container and keep in fridge for 2-3 weeks.
