Down to Earth Immuniser


5 chard leaves
4 large carrots
3 beetroots
2 inch ginger root
2 Granny Smith apples
1 parsnip
A few carrot and beetroot top leaves

Equipment needed: Juicer


  1. Prepare all the vegetables for juicing by slicing them lengthwise into roughly 2 cm thick strips.
  2. Juice all the ingredients by feeding it a slice at a time through the chute.
  3. Serve immediately

Tip: Juice the leafy greens first as they tend to feed themselves through the chute with ease. To make sure that the rest of the ingredients feed through easily too, slice them as thinly as possible into long strips, not chunks.
